Inside Studio is a firm located in the heart of the Plateau-Mont-Royal, specializing in corporate interior design. We are looking for a full-time, permanent interior designer to join our creative and dynamic team.
The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in interior design (preferably corporate) and be perfectly bilingual (French/English). Sociable, autonomous, and proactive, the candidate must have the ability to work under pressure while respecting deadlines for large-scale projects from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
- Manage projects from inception to completion
- Conduct space planning studies
- Participate in concept development and presentations
- Perform site surveys and digitize measurements
- Develop technical plans and specifications
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, and other consultants
- Analyze regulations applicable to the project
- Inspect construction sites and prepare deficiency lists
- Issue site instructions, site visit reports, and supplemental instructions
- Participate in the coordination and supervision of relocations
- Research and specify furniture
Requirements:
- Education: DEC or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in the field
- Software: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Photoshop
- Knowledge of SketchUp, InDesign, Word, and Excel
- Full professional proficiency, written and spoken, in both official languages
Assets:
Ability to create 3D color renderings. proficiency in Revit, and a membership with the APDIQ
